Royal British Legion Women's Section, Bexhill

The meeting was opened by our chairman.

Our president then addressed the members, telling us that Ella was still in hospital and that branch numbers were still good after 10 years. She also thanked the committee for all their hard work and members for their support.

We welcomed Joan back after a long absence. It was good to see her back.

There have been some very good speakers during the year, also the outing to Lathe Barn. Our chairman thanked all committee members for all the help in this last year.

The business side of the meeting over with, Florrie was presented with a plaque and flowers as she is giving up her post as treasurer, handing over to Gillen, but said she will stay as our president. Thank you, Florrie, for all your hard work on all the members' behalf.

Jenny was our speaker for the afternoon, telling the members what happens on a Remembrance weekend in London.

It was then time for a cup of tea and a chat.

Last but not least, a big thank you to all members for all their support and friendship.
