From the creators of Zippos Circus, voted Britain’s best-loved touring family show, the Summer Festival Circus on the Pier has been produced for the re-opening of the pier and will run until August 29.

Festival Circus is the first circus on the Pier for 50 years – and the creators have pushed the boat out to create a thrilling 50-minute non-stop spectacle features a wide cast of performers – from trapeze artistes and awesome acrobats, to jugglers, clowns and dancers galore!

Highlights include Italian artist Patrick as an astonishing human ‘Slinky’, a sensational acrobatic troupe from Mongolia performing high in the Big Top, and, the debut of new musical instrument The Hastings Bagpipes.

The Konyots are award winning Anglo-Hungarian clowns who have delighted audiences all over the world with a mixture of clowning, juggling and music. David Konyot and his wife Ansca both come from a long-line of circus families but their humour is right up to date and laughter guaranteed for all the family. Sebastian and Fanou are aerial adventurers making their first ever appearance in the United Kingdom .

Watch out also for Timoni from Great Britain – a loveable clown who is causing mayhem along the promenade. Tickets £11.95 available from the White Rock Theatre.
