Taking the Crown for live gigs in Old Town

Upcoming gigs at The Crown in Hastings All Saints Street will start with Droves on Sunday March 27 from 5-7pm - bent-up show tunes, broken blues and homespun hollering from a brotherly two-piece on Easter Sunday afternoon.

On Tuesday May 3 at 7pm comes Oudolin, a Hastings-based ensemble which will bring authentic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern folk music from a range of countries including Egypt, Syria, Greece, and Moorish Spain - featuring the oud, violin, guitar, tsouras, percussion and vocals. Then on Wednesday May 4 The Orange Circus Band play as part of the Hastings Folk Festival from 8pm. Expect fiddles, banjos, guitars and hearty singing.
