A sellout crowd of more than 1,000 flocked to the last Extreme World Wrestling (EWW) event in Hastings last October. And organisers say July’s extravaganza at the venue on The Ridge, billed ‘The Good, The Red and The Ugly,’ promises even more thrills and spills.

EWW is run by local husband and wife team Stu and Tarnya Allen – aka wrestlers The Dominator and Skarlett – and features a host of homegrown talent from the Hastings-based Extreme Academy of Wrestling.

EWW has been operating since 1998 but the shows have gone from strength-to-strength in the last five years and are now regarded by many as the best in the UK. The Good, The Red and The Ugly is its most ambitious show yet, culminating in a steel cage match for the EWW Heayweight Championship between current holder Philip Bateman and The Dominator. Fan favourite Skarlett will put her women’s championship title on the line against deadly nightshade on a night that will also see Deano Lock face Brother David for the St George’s belt.

Another bout to look forward to is the no disqualification “street fight” between Exodus and Sinders – two of EWW’s most supernatural entities.

Stu Allen said: “Those who have been to EWW will know what to expect – great family entertainment with a hard edge. Our shows get bigger and better every time and this will be no different. Anyone who hasn’t been before will be surprised at what a great night we put on. This one’s going to be huge”

Tickets, priced £10 for adults, £8 for children/concessions and £25 for a family (two adults and two under-12s), are available from Hastings Tourist Information Centre, Skarlett’s Café in Battle, Lord’s Ink and the website eww-wrestling.com.
