Haywards Heath town mayor’s thanks to lockdown volunteers who helped community
Councillor Alastair McPherson said: “Haywards Heath Covid-19 Mutual Aid is winding down and handing its referees back to local charities.
“Regular requests for assistance have now been referred to local charities including AGE UK West Sussex and new referrals should be directed to Good Neighbourhood CARE, a valuable community charity in Haywards Heath.

Good Neighbours CARE is a voluntary organisation, founded in 1983.
It currently has more than 150 volunteers but the demand for its services is increasing.

Hide AdThe organisation offers practical help to the residents of Ansty,Ardingly, Cuckfield, Haywards Heath, Horsted Keynes, Lindfield, Scaynes Hill and Wivelsfield Green.
The services it offers are those of a friend or neighbour, such as time, a helping hand with problems, and a friendly ear.
