The Cisswood House Hotel at Lower Beeding - once earmarked for redevelopment - says it will open its doors again next week.
Bosses at the hotel, originally built in 1928 for the then chairman of Harrods, say they are ‘incredibly pleased’ to be reopening on Wednesday August 26.

All staff have been on furlough throughout the hotel’s closure.
Earlier this year a planning application to demolish the hotel to make way for 50 flats was turned down by Horsham District Council.
Two previous planning applications to build flats in the grounds behind the independently-run hotel were also turned down by Horsham council. Many local residents opposed to the proposals and lodged letters of objection.
