Hide AdAdam Whitehead, head teacher at Bohunt Worthing, said: “We are incredibly proud of our students today and delighted to be able to celebrate their achievements and the hard work that they have put in throughout their time at Bohunt School Worthing.
“Our first ever GCSE Results last year set the bar high as our first ever GCSE results. They were achieved by students who had only been with us for four years. This years’ cohort have been with us for the full five years and have extended this excellent progress. This is testament to their engagement with the professionalism, commitment and hard work of our staff which has enabled them to become independent, self-motivated and ‘game changing’ individuals.
“Our students responded to the unprecedented circumstances of COVID 19 with maturity and intelligence. They have shown remarkable resilience, strength and ongoing commitment throughout their GCSE courses particularly within the last few months. They thoroughly deserve their results today which will set them up confidently for the next steps as young adults and help them continue to succeed in the future.”
