The helicopter was seen in Seaside Recreation Ground off Whitley Road at around 2pm today (Wednesday, September 27).
A spokesperson from the South East Coast Ambulance Service said the air ambulance landed to assist its crew with a call to a nearby private address.
Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex said it is unable to provide further comment on this incident.
