An evening of stand-up comedy at Masonic Hall

STAND UP Hastings, together with Lone Star Comedy Club will be serving an evening of laughter at the Masonic Hall in St Leonards next Friday (March 14).

The headliner will be Stuart Goldsmith, with support from Silky and Brad Gross as compere.

Stuart’s infectious banter channels the effortless charisma and quick-fire timing honed over a youth misspent as a street performer. He is equally sought-after as an act and an MC, performing regularly for Avalon, Off The Kerb, The Glee Club, The Banana Cabaret, The Comedy Company, Up The Creek and Bound & Gagged.

Liverpudlian-in-exile Silky has been a full-time comedian since 1997 – nd his press quotes say it all.

“Silky was upsettingly funny, biting without alienating the audience… left me with aching stomach muscles, teary eyes and a need to buy more anti-wrinkle cream for the laughter lines around my eyes” – BBC Online.

Doors open at 7.30pm with the show starting at 8pm. Tickets are £10.
