Each year there are upwards of 100 members of the RBL, veterans, scouts and guides along with other organisations. The band would head the parade from the RBL premises in Meads Avenue towards the roundabout in the centre of the village, before marching to St Mark’s Church for a Service of Remembrance. The Parade will then return to the War Memorial for another short Service of Remembrance and laying of wreaths. Following this act of dedication, the Parade will march back to the club for refreshments and a buffet lunch. If any organisation can help please contact Phil Snelgrove, (01424 844174 or email [email protected]), or Stuart Marfleet, (01424 217155 or [email protected]).
