The Little Common branch of the Royal British Legion is looking for a local marching band to head their Remembrance Day Parade on Sunday November 13.

Each year there are upwards of 100 members of the RBL, veterans, scouts and guides along with other organisations. The band would head the parade from the RBL premises in Meads Avenue towards the roundabout in the centre of the village, before marching to St Mark’s Church for a Service of Remembrance. The Parade will then return to the War Memorial for another short Service of Remembrance and laying of wreaths. Following this act of dedication, the Parade will march back to the club for refreshments and a buffet lunch.
