Arsonists strike in Durrington

ARSONISTS kept Worthing firefighters busy in the early hours of Monday morning with three attacks.

Just before 1.15am firefighters were called to Pond Lane, Durrington, where a trailer unit, bouncy castles, quad bike and fencing were severely damaged.

It took an hour and 45 minutes for firefighters to get the blaze under control.

At 1.30am they were called to another arson at the Orchards Middle School, Nelson Road, Maybridge, where rubbish had been set on fire.

Then, at about 1.50am they were called to the Strand Parade, in Durrington, to a bin fire, which was also thought to be deliberate.
