INSPIRATION from the garden has taken root and flourished into an exciting exhibition in a hidden garage in St Leonards this weekend.

Garden in the Garage takes place in a large garage space next to the Horse and Groom at Mercatoria and runs today (Friday) and Saturday from 11am - 5pm .

The exhibition was inspired by a garden and plants drawing workshop at the Beacon in April and a talk on garden projects by Hastings resident and landscape architect for the Olympic Park Phil Askey.

The exhibition features the work of 18 artists and includes an amazing light installation by Carly Ralph, pottery by Judith Row and work by Charlotte Snook, including a 4ft long image of the Bohemia Walled Garden.
