Artwork goes on display

Exhibitors between the ages of eight and 80 are among those displaying their paintings, photographs, glass engravings, prose and poetry at the first exhibition staged by the King's Gate Church which meets in Bognor Regis.

Formerly known as the Chichester Christian Fellowship, the group is exhibiting artwork from members of the church at the Beehive, its meeting place for young people, at the south end of Williams Street in Bognor Regis.

Entitled The King's Art, the exhibition opened last Saturday and will end this Saturday. The exhibition's opening times are from 10am to 4pm each Saturday and 10.30am to 11.30am weekdays.

An added attraction this Saturday is live art in the form of two singer-songwriters performing their own original songs at around 11am to 11.30am.

'It is our first successful exhibition and has engendered such excellent creativity and enjoyment we will definitely be doing something regularly in the future,' said Lizzie Hickmore from the leadership team.
