BOOK GROUPS: The March book is “Animal, Vegetable, Miracle” by the wonderful Barbara Kingsolver. This mix of autobiography, journal, food politics and recipes celebrates the pleasures of good food and argues for authenticity in both eating and food production. The afternoon group will meet on March 31, 8 p.m. at Ashburnham Place whilst the evening group will meet on March 27, 2 p.m. If you would like to borrow the book or would like further information about either group, please contact Nicole on 894208 or Nicky on 892474.
