- For the green fingered people of Ashburnham and Penhurst, The Ashburnham and Penhurst Gardening Club February’s meeting is on Monday 27 entitled “The Garden Calendar” - planning for a great gardening year with Rhod Jones at 7.30pm at the Church Hall, Ashburnham Place.

- It is a few weeks to go until Mothering Sunday which is on March 18.

There will be a Mothering Sunday Breakfast at 10am in Ashburhham Village Hall organised by St Peter’s Church.

- Do you have any old photos or interesting documents of Ashburnham that you would be happy to lend to the Diamond Jubilee Committee to add to the exhibition planned for Monday June 4?

The committee are looking for photos, maps, newspaper articles, old minutes relating to the parish - to display in the marquee.
