Bag snatcher runs into officer
A BAG snatcher who ran off after stealing an elderly woman's handbag in Parkhurst Road, Bexhill, at 3.45pm on Sunday afternoon hadn't bargained for what happened next.
As he sped round a corner he ran straight into the arms of a patrolling bobby, PC Steve Croft, and was promptly arrested.
Police said a man was later interviewed by detectives and will be charged with the offence.
