Battle Bonfire: Children’s Parade and Fancy Dress
BATTLE Bonfire got off to a lively start on Saturday morning (November 2) with a colourful parade down the High Street.
The Oldest Guy in the World was led down to the Abbey Green, accompanied by some elaborate costumes and to the enthusiastic drumming from the Battle Rubbish Drummers.
The Guy took his place on the Green alongside this year’s effigy before children’s fancy dress competition and best Guy competition were judged.
