Battle home burgled

The property in Chain Lane, Battle, was broken into on July 19 while the occupants were out for the day. Items were taken from the property, but police have not revealed exactly what was stolen.

Last week it was reported that a home in North Trade Road, Battle, was broken into whilst the occupants were out shopping for the morning on Friday July 15.

And a number of commercial premises were targeted in a wave of burglaries last month.

Police have said they are “keeping an open mind” about the latest burglary, but added that there was “no direct links” with any other offence.
