Bex and Hayley set for gruelling Brighton Half Marathon
Bex Mepstead, of Southfields Road, Littlehampton, and friend Hayley Stern, 23, of Windsor Close Rustington, will slip on their running shoes to take part in February 17’s Brighton Half Marathon.
They will be raising cash for the Neuroblastoma Alliance UK, which helps children with a rare form of cancer.

Last year they completed a gruelling triathlon, for St Wilfrid’s Hospice, in Chichester.
However, they’re anticipating the marathon will be their most physically demanding task to date.
Bex, 25, who works at Worthing Hospital as a member of the non-emergency ambulance crews, said: “We’ve never tackled anything like this before, so it’s really pretty daunting.
“As it gets closer I’m getting more and more terrified.”

They are running as part of the Heart FM team and are now looking for help raising sponsorship.
With more than £100 already pledged, they hope to hit the £400 mark before the race.
Anyone who would like to sponsor them can visit Virgin Money’s giving website and search “Hayley Stern”.
