The winning school will get a competition cup presented by Richard Burrett, county council deputy cabinet member for education and schools, at the end of the finals being held at County Hall North Professional Centre in Horsham.

The top three teams will be awarded medals, and every school taking part will also get a certificate.

Richard Burrett said: "The competition shows the importance of maths and teamwork in a fun way for the children, having to solve problems, play Countdown-style maths questions, measuring, logic problems and a range of other questions using things like dominoes and playing cards."
