Geoffrey Goodsell, 13 Levetts Lane

THE Bodiam Church of England Primary School PTA Fun Day made £2,300. The school has a football team and they take on Northiam, Salehurst, Staplecross and lots of others. Each match is two halves of 15 minutes. If anyone would like to take on Bodiam, but you will never win, phone the deputy head Nick Williams on 01580 830342.

The next service at St Giles is the family service at 11.15am on December 2.

There was a good turn out for the Remembrance Service at the War Memorial. In today’s not so nice world, Remembrance Sunday can mean such a lot. In our vicar Gordon’s letter in the Parish News, he said as the memory of wars fade, how easily we forget the sacrifice of those who died serving King and Country. He is so right, but we must not do that. Forget.

I am sure Levetts Lane has responsible dog owners, but why do some owners not clear up after their dog? It is a mess in some parts of the lane. It doesn’t give a very good impression of Levetts Lane. Do please start to clear up after your dog or dogs.
