Cricket Fixture: The village cricket club are to take on Rotherfield in an away fixture on the 30th August with a start of 1.30 p.m. Four more fixtures to the end of the season and then indoor cricket takes over.

Church Service: Next service at St Giles is on the 6th September at 11.15 a.m. and will be the Family Service, Gordon the Vicar of Bodiam will take the service.

Hawkhurst 09.43, 11.43, 14.43, 16.43, back from Hawkhurst 09.46, 11.46, 14.46, 16.46. Bodiam 10.01, 12.01, 15.01, 17.01. Hastings 10.43, 12.43, 15.43, 17.43.

New Residents: I am sure that Levetts Lane welcomes the new residents to number 18 and hope they have happy times in Bodiam.

Bodiam Community Friends: For a long time now Bodiam Community Friends have not had a meeting, the provisional date for the next meeting is 21st October 6p.m. at the Castle Inn.
