CHRISTMAS: Will soon be with us and on Boxing Day The National Trust at Bodiam Castle is to do a walk with a delicious breakfast bap and a hot drink. Like so many things with the National Trust it will cost £15 per person with a 9a.m. start.
MOBILE LIBRARY: Next date is October 29, 11.30am to 11.55am and stops at Levetts Lane.
JENNY LIVERTON: A Lay Reader at St Giles and at Ewhurst Green for some time and a friend to many in Bodiam who do not go to church, perhaps people could go and see her, if she is not in she may be out for a walk, perhaps return the visits with a few well chosen words that can go a long way. Sometimes I lie awake at night and ask where have I gone wrong? Then a voice says to me ‘this is going to take more than one night’. You cannot say this about Jenny.
BAPTISMS, WEDDINGS: Do please phone Gordon, the Vicar of Bodiam, with any questions about Baptisms, Weddings or other matters. Telephone 01580 830268 if there is no-one to take your call Gordon will respond to any message within a few hours.
PARISH NEWS: Did you know you can pay by standing order for the Parish News. For form or more information 01580 752052.
PAM MARSH: I felt so sorry for Pam Marsh as she did a horse in the 1.45 at York by the name of Marsh Pride, it came fourth so no money back, the money would have been a great help to her.
