Tim, the bus driver, who for many years was the number one the Stagecoach buses at Hastings is now the number one at Renown Buses. I saw him in Cranbrook and he would like to say all the very best to his friends that he made on the 349 route. Congratulations to one of Stagecoaches best drivers in the Hastings depot. He was rated fifth in the entire nation. Stagecoach will give him a new bus.

Bonfire: Bodiam bonfire and fireworks takes place at the Castle Inn on Friday, November 9 at 6:30 PM. for more information call (01580) 830330.

Council clerk: Bodiam parish council has a new clerk. Christine Burgess lives in Rolvenden. The parish council had some very good candidates to interview. More news on Christine soon.

Church services: the next service at St Giles is on November 4 at 11:15 AM and will be and all Saints family service.
