Bonfire society fancy dress competition
BONFIRE Night spectators often complain that they do not have much of a chance to fully appreciate the magnificent costumes on the night.
At Lewes Town Hall on October 19 a selection of costumes will be paraded at the annual inter-society competitions organised by Lewes Bonfire Council.
There will be seven different classes for children from 6.15pm with adults being judged between 8pm and 11pm.
Entry, 2.50 for adults, 50p for children, aged five to15.
Cliffe Bonfire Society retained the overall championship last year.
