Pupils at Peasmarsh CE Primary School enjoyed dressing up as characters from books on World Book Day last Thursday.
World Book Day is now in its 18th year. The main aim of the event in the UK is to encourage children to explore the pleasures of books and reading.
Sara Pugh, from Peasmarsh School, said: “It was lovely to see so many children taking part in the celebration and wearing such fantastic costumes.”
