The Bosom Buddies, last year’s semi-finalists from Britain’s Got Talent, are heading for 1066 Country this spring.
The duo will appear at the Funky Buddha nightclub in Robertson Street on Saturday, April 5.
It will be the first time the Manchester-based drag act have performed on the south coast, and are bound to draw in the crowds.
When Mark, a teacher, asked builder’s yard worker Stuart if he fancied forming a drag act, Stuart really wasn’t keen but with a bit of gentle persuasion he was convinced and Brenda and Bernie were born.
Funky Buddha general manager, Louise Jeffery, said: “We are very excited to host the Bosom Buddies in Hastings, we are aiming to diversify our entertainment for the people of the town and really look forward to welcoming this unique act.”
Tickets will be available at the venue or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Bosom Buddies shot to fame after getting four Yes votes during the heats of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent in 2013.
They sang Time To Say Goodbye by classical singer Andrea Bocelli, wearing jewelled hot pink dresses and sitting on flower-entwined swings.
The pair went on to become semi-finalists and have been performing at venues across the UK ever since.
