A section of the A21 has been closed due to flooding this morning (Tuesday, January 5).
The road is currently shut in both directions between the A2100 at John’s Cross and the A28 at Westfield.
Highways England says it anticipates the road will reopen between 1.30pm and 1.45pm, once the obstruction has been cleared.
Road users are being advised to plan ahead, allow extra time to travel and consider alternative routes where possible.
