Well Done: to Brede Primary School not only did they produce a wonderful production of Joseph which was thoroughly enjoyed by many, Year 1 pupils also achieved a 100% pass in their phonics screening.
The Buttercups Nursery School: has now completely left the Scout Hut and are ensconced in their new premises beside Brede School. I hope they settle in well and that it will make life easier for them and the parents of the children attending.

Brede Farmers Market in Brede Village Hall from 10am – 12noon I bought some beautiful plants for the garden last week and fresh vegetables and Peter’s Apple juice which you cannot buy anywhere else. There were also many other unusual gifts and wares and essential food goods too. Do go along and see for yourself especially if you are camping in the area.
Brede Short Mat Bowlers will be in Brede Village Hall at 7.30pm.
DDA Hastings & St Leonards Dementia Action Alliance presents an evening of Midsummer Music with Roger Wilcock & Hastings Big Choir. Brede Firefighters Fete begins this afternoon at 1pm in the Broad Oak Recreation Ground. There will be lots to see and do and if you would like to bring a picnic tea or buy a beefburger or hot dog, beer or cup of tea we can picnic to celebrate the Queen’s Birthday despite it being cancelled back in June because of the rain. This will be much more fun as there will be more to watch and do. You will also be supporting a great cause.
Monday 25 July: Yoga with Susan in Udimore Community Hall at 9.30am.
Rainbows Guiding section are in the small hall of Brede Village Hall; they meet from 4.15- 5.15pm, they welcome girls aged between 5-7 years,

Tuesday 26 July: Pilates in Udimore community Hall at 9.15am The Knitters & Natters have their meeting in Broad Oak Methodist Church at 10am and welcome anyone who would like to join them as they knit for various charities.
Brede Luncheon Club meet in Brede Village Hall a 12.30am for their delicious lunch. If you would like to join them please contact Christina Purkiss 01424 882274 she will be pleased to hear from you and transport is available if you should require it.
