Last week the members of the burwash short mat bowls club held their mixed drawn pairs knockout. All names were drawn to see who would be playing with who, with some interesting pairings. All games were played over seven ends, and some of the games were extremely hard fought. The final was equally hard fought between Keith Wood & Mary Taylor against Mary Chadburn & Eileen Jarvis. Mary & Keith were the victors.
