Mary Taylor, Holton Cottages
Thank you to everyone who came to the charity soup lunch last week. We had over 40 diners including volunteers, who all sat down to enjoy one or more of the seven delicious home made soups and naughty but nice desserts. Grateful thanks to everyone who helped, especially Sam Birch & her daughter Beth, Claire Chenery, Jean, Eileen Craddock and my long suffering husband Barry. You all helped to make this one of the best so far. After expences and a little donation we gave £300 to The Admiral Nurses.
