Delicious cream teas were served, a raffle and bric a brac stall for browsing. Despite the poor attendance we raised £158. Our grateful thanks to those who did come and those who manned the stalls.

Roger Cloke will be delighted to lead you and bring you back to the village in time for lunch.

Last year a few people got together to celebrate St George’s day with a party on the green at Hornbeam. It was a lot of fun with lots of games for the children to enjoy. Families took along plates of food and shared them around, and a barbecue was lit for hot food. They intend to hold another one this year, on Sunday 27th April and would be delighted if you came along. Go on to the Burwash Community facebook page and see more and let them know you will be there. More games have been made and it is hoped to have a maypole.
