Flats and shops in Battle's historic and picturesque High Street are coming up at auction this month.

They are among 180 lots in the auction being held by independent regional land and property auctioneer Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers.

The properties are being offered at Clive Emson’s regional Sussex and Surrey sale in Brighton on Wednesday, October 31.

A block of four flats at 65 High Street, currently fully let at £23,612 per annum, has a freehold guide price of £290,000 to £300,000.

Senior auction valuer Emma Attrell said: “This is a well-presented property comprising four self-contained flats, each let to provide a good income.

Two retail units at 61-62 High Street, currently let at £26,900 per annum, are offered jointly with Meridian Surveyors with a leasehold guide price of £275,000 to £280,000 on a new 999-year lease.
