Car and motorcycle collide on A21 at Johns Cross Road, near Robertsbridge

Two people were injured following a collision between a car and motorcycle this morning (Friday, October 18).

The incident happened just before 6am on the A21 at Johns Cross Road, near Robertsbridge.

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb) said: “Ambulance crews attended the scene following reports of a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and a motorbike on the A21 at John’s Cross at approximately 6.30am today.

“Both patients were treated before being taken to hospital. The motorcyclist was treated for injuries including a leg injury before being taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital and the second patient was treated for injuries including a head injury before being taken to Conquest Hospital.”

There were reports of queueing traffic in both directions as a result of the accident.
