Cash boost for arts school
A FUNDRAISING drive by Worthing's Glendale Theatre Arts School to attend an international dance competition has received a £5,000 boost from Worthing County Local Committee.
The cash, which is from the Committee’s Community Initiative Funding (CIF), will go towards enabling 45 dancers to take part in the 2011 Dance World Cup.
Twenty-four countries will be competing in the competition, which is taking place in Paris in June and July.

Hide AdCIF is cash the Committee receives from West Sussex County Council to fund local groups and organisations that enhance their neighbourhoods and communities.
Committee Chairman Irene Richards said: “By taking part in this competition against countries from all over the world, Glendale Theatre Arts School will be giving Worthing an international profile in a prestige event.”
