Sports News: A fine afternoon in Northiam, the pitch was a bit sticky but we got our football match played and we won. True, Northiam are at the bottom of the table and we are only just above them, but the team played well and the final score of 5 - 3 was a great encouragement in the effort not to be relegated. Our goals were scored by Louis Bradbury (2), Tony Luke, Sam Harris and Pete Rollinson. Sadly, there is no fixture tomorrow so the season of stops and starts continues, with no-one having a good run of games.
Spring Show: The Catsfield Horticultural Society will be hosting the annual Spring Show in the Village Hall on Saturday 11th April at 2pm. It is hoped that there will be even more entries than ever and the schedules will be available in the Village Stores, Baker’s Sausage Shop and Great Park Farm from next week with plenty of exciting classes to enter. Refreshments will be available, also raffle, plant and cake and entry will be 50p and children free.
