THE beautiful 16th Century Yeoman Farmhouse at Three Oaks will provide the backdrop for an open air production of Romeo and Juliet over the Easter weekend.

It is being presented by Bowler Crab company in honour of Shakespeare’s 450th birthday on April 23.

The famous play portrays the trials of two star-crossed lovers from warring Italian families.

Performances take place on Good Friday 18th and Saturday 19th April and then evenings from Tuesday April 22 to Saturday 26 at Half House Farm in Three Oaks.

It is a return to the venue for Bowler Crab as the production company held several successful performances at Three Oaks last year.

This is the first of three plays they have lined up for the 2014 season.

Farm gates will open at 6pm every evening. The shows begin at 7pm.

It is important to bring warm clothing and a comfortable chair, although hay bails will be provided for seating.
