Celebrating the district’s tourist trade
THE chairman and vice chairman of Rother District Council showed their support for the second annual English Tourism Week (March 16 – 24) with a visit to Bexhill Museum.
The event celebrates the contribution of the tourism industry which is worth £271,973,000 a year to Rother’s economy.
Councillors across the UK were invited to visit tourism businesses in their area and chairman
Cllr Joy Hughes and vice chairman Cllr Ian Jenkins took up the offer to visit a local attraction.
