A chalet in Camber caught fire in the early hours of this morning (Friday, October 1).
Two East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crews from Rye were called to reports of a fire on New Lydd Road at 1:15am this morning.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
A positive pressure fan was used to ventilate the area and crews returned to the scene at 7am to confirm there had been no reignition.
