Adventurers can wild camp in green glades and woodland in the wide open spaces of historic parkland at Sheffield Park and Garden, or escape into the literary world of Rudyard Kipling with a sleepover in the tree-lined grounds of Bateman’s, his Jacobean family home.

With each special place in East Sussex putting on its own events there is something for everyone – cook bread twists on a crackling campfire or watch the stars with the Seven Sisters Astronomical Society at Sheffield Park and Garden.

At Bateman’s there will be games and storytelling around the campfire before falling asleep nestled in the wooded landscape of the Sussex Weald.

Campers should bring their own tent, sleeping bags, food and refreshments and any other camping equipment they wish to bring.
