Christchurch children help youngsters in need

THE children of Christchurch Methodist Church have staged an afternoon to raise their awareness of the plight of children in the United Kingdom and abroad for whom they collect money from sponsors in the church each week.

Some of the children have been collecting regularly for many years.

During the afternoon, the children made bracelets. They also made drums, which they later played together. Each child brought food from a different part of the world, including Italy, India and South Africa, which they enjoyed sharing together.
