A FANTASTIC family show for the Christmas season will raise funds for Philippines typhoon victims.

The show is performed by young members of the Hastings Stage Studio.

The Stage Studio boasts some of the best rising talent in the South East. Members have made appearances in several A-list films and TV shows with stars such as Keira Knightley, George Clooney and Benedict Cumberbatch.

The first half features singing and dancing from top shows including Pirates of the Caribbean; Charlie Brown and the recent Broadway smash Newsies.

The second half full of Festive Favourites including The Polar Express.

John and Vanessa Pohlhammer, who run the Stage Studio, said: “Our hearts go out to all those affected by the devastating effects of typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

“As entertainers on cruise ships for many years, we had the pleasure of working closely with so many lovely people from that nation who were kind, gracious, and incredibly hard-working

“We decided to donate as much of the proceeds as we can from our upcoming show “The Magic Of Christmas” to help the victims of this tragic disaster.

“It is important to us that all proceeds go directly to help those who need it most. We are excited that Nourish the Children, a company that has delivered over 300 million highly-nutritious, easily-prepared meals over the past 10 years to malnourished children overseas, has agreed to match our funds on a 1 to 5 basis in directly donating VitaMeals where needed most.”

The Milligan Theatre is situated at Rye College, Love Lane, Rye.

Showtimes are 7.30pm on Friday and Saturday, Dec 13 and 14, and 5pm on Sunday, Dec 15 at the new Milligan Theatre, Rye, just a short walk from Rye train station. Tickets are just £10, £8 concessions. Group Bookings: Buy 10 tickets, Get 1 Free. Call 07938 767943 or visit to book now.
