Co-op plans move to Pebsham
The moved had been rumoured locally for some time. Meanwhile, the Seabourne Road store had remained shuttered.
The group said the move will provide the local community with an enhanced service and create up to 15 new jobs.

Hide AdGroup regional chief officer Mark Hudson said: "As the country's leading community retailer we can offer local shoppers a more comprehensive range of products, competitive prices and excellent promotions."
The Co-operative Group will now invest 275,000 in carrying out an extensive refit at the store, which will re-open towards the end of August.
Mr Hudson said: "It will be among the first of The Co-operative Group's 3,300 outlets in the UK to feature the consumer-owned business' new identity, The co-operative, which aims to highlight improved service standards as well as its commitment to supporting local communities and ethical trading policies.
