Conservation Society holds its AGM at the Village Hall

NORTHIAM Conservation Society holds its AGM tonight (Friday May 16) at the village hall at 7.30pm.

Guest speaker Stephen Hardy, from the council for the Protection of Rural England, will give a talk on the green belt and planning.

The Society says the finger post close to Tufton Place has now been repaired and replaced.

Work has also been carried out to renovate two further finger posts.

Society chairman Mervyn Hayes said: “The workmanship has been superb and timely. In all we have replaced four posts and repaired two.”
