On Friday Party in the Park will be in The Polegrove from 7pm, with headline act Jay, Cheryl and Mike formerly of Bucks Fizz, followed by a firework display at 9.45pm

Bexhill Carnival Procession takes the limelight on Saturday arriving at the Polegrove between 3.30-4pm having snaked its way through town with 45 floats. The procession will start in Turkey road and take a small detour to overcome Sidley Bridge.

The fair will be open from the Tuesday evening onwards with rides and fun for all the family

Chairman Nim Whitmarsh said: “All events are looking really good. The Commando Fitness challenge aka It’s a Knockout is full with teams from local businesses and should be a good night for the community to enjoy, the dog show and boot sale have received a lot of interest from people wanting to register early. The Party in the Park with 1066 Rockitmen and Bucks Fizz is going to be a busy night, please remember to book your tickets in advance via our website.”
