County news: Thousands line the streets for Brighton Pride

The UK's largest LGBT celebration returned to Brighton and Hove this weekend, with around 200,000 people lining the streets for today's (Saturday's) Pride march.

This year’s theme for Pride’s famous community parade is ‘Uniting Nations’.

The parade set off from Hove Lawns this morning, heading through the city to Preston Park, where the Pride Festival is currently taking place.

Performers at this year’s festival include popstars such as Carly Rae Jepsen, Sister Sledge and Alesha Dixon.
