COUNTY PAYS TRIBUTE TO WAR DEAD

THE fallen from two world wars and other conflicts were remembered at services across the county at the weekend.

On Saturday the 2nd Durrington Sea Scouts jeld a Remembrance Service at Broadwater Cemetery, attended by Explorers, Scouts and Cubs from Lynx and Gloucester Cub Packs.

In Worthing huge crowds gathered to pay their respects at a service held at the war memorial in Chapel Road.

In Arundel the normal wreath laying ceremony took place with the Duke of Norfolk placing a wreath for the town council and Cllr Don Ayling for Arun District Council.
