The new ‘Back 2 Netball’ course is run by Freedom Leisure on behalf of Rother District Council.

This fun, non-competitive session welcomes ladies of all abilities aged 16+. So even if you haven’t played for many years since leaving school, that’s no problem.

The England Netball ‘Back 2 Netball’ programme returns to the basics of the game to refresh your memory about the rules and train to regain your skills.

You can expect great fitness gains too with each one hour session burning up to 660 calories.

The programme has been devised by England Netball and will be delivered by highly qualified netball coaches at Bexhill Leisure Centre.

“Netball is a great team sport but many women stop playing once they leave school,” says Paul Norris, Freedom Leisure Centre Manager. “Back 2 Netball is perfect for those who want to play the sport without the pressure of competing or committing to a team.”

‘Back 2 Netball’ will run every Monday evening from 6pm-7pm at Bexhill Leisure Centre. Participants will be able to attend their first time for free and after that it will cost £3.10 per session. Members and non-members are welcome to come along: simply turn up, pay and play.
