Boy robbed in Rustington by teenage attacker

Detectives are urging a cyclist, who may have witnessed an assault and robbery of a child in Rustington, to come forward.

At around 5.40pm on Wednesday, November 28, a young teenage boy was attacked in New Road, Rustington, and had his Samsung Galaxy Apollo mobile phone stolen, police announced yesterday (Monday, December 3).

Officers believe a cyclist was passing by at the time of the incident and may have seen something that might lead to identifying the offender.

Police added the victim was hit but was not seriously injured.

The suspect is described as being a white boy aged 15-16, of thin build, clean shaven with short hair and wearing a black woollen zipped jumper and light brown chino-style trousers.
