Concern for missing man from Kent who could be in Rye

Officers from Kent Police are urgently trying to find a 55-year-old man who went missing from Ashford on Wednesday 17 February.

A Sussex Police statement says that the last confirmed sighting of James Morton states he was in Bailey’s Field, Ashford, between 9.30am and 9.45am.

It is believed he then travelled to Rye, in East Sussex, in a 53 plate Silver Rover 75. He may have since travelled to another location.

He was last seen wearing a burgundy and grey hooded top and a grey padded jacket with black jeans and black trainers.

Anyone with any information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Kent Police on 101 quoting 17-0426.
